Just like Santa, the Easter Bunny did not impress Brooklyn and Marley. The Easter Bunny was at a twins club event where there were about 1000 sets of twins running around screaming as well. The girls were more interested in all the ruckus around them. At least we didn't have to pay $50 for these pictures like we did for the creepy mall Santa pictures we had taken :)
Lucas, on the other hand, went to the mall Easter Bunny and had some really cute pictures taken!
Later that day the cousins hung out on Papa and Gigi's swing with their shades on!

Dying Easter Eggs!
Well, we tried to dye Easter eggs with the girls. Brooklyn fell asleep and Marley was fussy. Mike and I enjoyed writing funny messages with the wax crayon at least! Maybe next year will be a little more fun! Stay tuned....the girls first trip to visit the Easter Bunny is this weekend.
Great Grandma's Birthday
My sister and I took the kids to see our grandmother for her birthday. Grandma Koepke has dementia but is with us sometimes. We had a pretty good day and she loved holding and feeding "Marley Joan"! When we named Marley she decided she didn't like Ryan as her middle name and thought that she needed to have her first name instead! Too funny. Marley will always be Marley Joan to her!

Bath time is getting better...
Bath time has been quite a chore with two babies! It is getting better. Brooklyn enjoys herself a little more now but she is growing out of the tub we use in the sink. The counter next to the sink is also now a little small for them to lay on while getting undressed, etc. Marley is still unsure if she likes the water or not. She cries through bathing still...hopefully, we get past that soon. I think we will have to transfer to the baby tub in the actual bathtub soon. That should be fun! Before we know it they will be splashing too much and getting water everywhere and we will be wishing they DIDN'T love bath time so much!

St. Patrick's Day!
Happy Saint Patrick's Day to everyone! The girls got all dressed up in green! The picture of Brooklyn with the "Brooklyn" lager was from about a week ago, but we saved it to post with this series of photos. And I do have to say, last year on St. Patrick's Day the girls were conceived in their little petri dish! So today is a special day for us and we are celebrating!
If you look super close this beer is called Brooklyn Lager....
Marley Doodle's shirt says Kiss Me I'm Irish and B's says A Wee Bit Irish! Too cute! Marley's hat was for the dog but it looked cuter on her and Brooklyn still has green glitter on her head from the shamrocks!
They also have on cute outfits for today but I will have to post those pictures later!

A little bit of cereal, a little bit of spring
Below is a picture of Brooklyn's first bites of semi-solid food. She doesn't really like it all that much and now is having some pooping issues. Yay! We are not 100% sure it is from the food or what....sigh, poor thing.
It was a beautiful weekend and we tried to get the girls to the park. The sun was a little too bright and really they just weren't all that excited about being outside. They looked around and kinda hung out but really Mike and I were more happy to just be in flip flops than anything else. The girls could have stayed inside and been just fine. Little do they know how horrible cabin fever really is! We still had a good time and got a couple cute pictures!
4 months old!!!
We are now 4 months old! And boy did we celebrate with an eventful day! First, Mommy decided to take a bunch of pictures. We got one special one with Kirra and then a lot by ourselves. A couple are highlighted below but check out the album link because there a like a million in there!
Then we went to meet Mommy's friend Christi for lunch. Mommy and Christi got their Master's degrees together at Xavier. She has a cute little boy, Patrick, who is just a week older than us. He is another one of our new boyfriends. We hope to hang out with him more often.
Then we went to our 4 month doctor's appointment. We were really good girls. Brooklyn weighs 11 lbs 7 oz and Marley weighs 8 lbs. 15 oz. We are growing and everything looks great. The doctor is going to make us do a few weeks of physical therapy to help us catch up to where we need to be developmentally. We are right where we should be in accordance to Mommy's real due date, so that is good, but the doctor says it can't hurt to speed us up a tad. Brooklyn is allowed to start eating a little bit of cereal each day and we both have to stay on the preemie infant formula. Mommy hates this because she can't buy it at Costco.
Then we had to get shots. Brooklyn went first and actually didn't even cry! She got a sad face and pouty lip but no sounds or tears! Marley cried a little but held her own. The nurses were impressed!
