Grandma Koepke, my biological father and his wife Cathy, and my Aunt Keri - all the way from Alabama, made a visit to the kids last week. Grandma was in good spirits and as far as we could tell was "with us" at the time. Her dementia is getting the best of her but she seemed to have a great time! We took some family pictures, ate a lot of LaRosa's pizza and played with babies for a few hours. Hopefully soon we can make the trip to Orange Beach, Alabama to visit and take the babies to the ocean for the first time!
